DURHAM, N.C. – One of the best to play on the Duke women’s soccer backline is officially joining the professional ranks, as Chelsea Burns has inked a contract with PSV Vrouwen in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
Burns becomes the 25th Blue Devil to sign a professional contract and the second from the 2018 senior class, joining Kayla McCoy, who officially signed with the NWSL’s Houston Dash in mid-April. The Jacksonville, Fla., native joins two-time All-ACC honoree Kim DeCesare as the second Blue Devil to play for PSV.
