DURHAM, N.C. – Former Blue Devil standout Sarah Bullard has been tabbed a captain of the 2017 U.S. Women's World Cup Team, as announced over the weekend by US Lacrosse.
Bullard will serve as a captain along with goalkeeper Devon Wills as the U.S. squad begins its quest for its eighth world championship at this summer's 2017 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Women's World Cup July 12-22 in Guildford, England. Bullard and Wills will both be competing in their third World Cup after helping to guide the U.S. to world championship titles in 2009 and 2013.
