Bruckner, Matheis Lead Duke Past Stony Brook, 17-11

STONY BROOK, N.Y.—Five different Blue Devils registered hat tricks and No. 6 Duke held 20th-ranked Stony Brook scoreless in the final 14:02 to earn a 17-11 win in front of 4,860 fans at LaValle P. Stadium. Jack Bruckner and Case Matheis led the Duke scoring contingent with six points apiece.

Bruckner finished with five goals to bring his two-game total to 12 and Matheis matched his career-high six points with three goals and three assists.  Sophomore Kyle Rowe went 18-of-20 from the faceoff X with seven ground balls in his return to Stony Brook. Rowe spent his rookie season with the Sea Wolves before transferring to Duke.
