DURHAM, N.C. – Junior attackman Jack Bruckner scored five goals and added two assists to lead No. 9 Duke to a 20-6 win over visiting Georgetown on Saturday afternoon at Koskinen Stadium. The win is the third straight for the Blue Devils as they enter into ACC play next weekend.
The Blue Devils improve to 6-3 while the Hoyas fall to 1-6.
Justin Guterding added three goals and three assists to the offensive output, while junior goaltender Danny Fowler made nine saves on 12 shots on goal. Blue Devil seniors John Shaffer and Joe Kruy threw in their first goals of the season and rookie Brad Smith finished with a career-high three points on a goal and two helpers.
