LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Duke University fifth-year senior Lexie Brown is one of 15 student-athletes on the 2018 National Ballot for the John R. Wooden Award, which was released Saturday by the Los Angeles Athletic Club.
Selected by the Wooden Award National Advisory Board, the 15 candidates for the Wooden Award All-America Team and the Wooden Award Trophy as the most outstanding women’s college basketball player in NCAA Division I.
On the season, Brown has averaged 20.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 3.5 steals for the Blue Devils. She has turned in one of the best individual seasons in school history with 106 steals, which is tied for the second most in a single season for Duke.
