DURHAM, N.C. – Following leading the Duke women’s golf program to a seventh NCAA Championship last month, Blue Devil head coach Dan Brooks has received another National Coach of the Year accolade as Golfweek announced this week he was the recipient of the top honor.
It marks the fourth time Brooks has received Golfweek National Coach of the Year and the first since 2007. Overall, Brooks has been selected
National Coach of the Year a total of seven times since 1999 by either WGCA or Golfweek.
Brooks took a team with one senior, one junior, two sophomores and one freshman to Arkansas for the NCAA Championship and played their best golf at the right time of the year.
