DURHAM, N.C. – One again, Duke University women’s golf head coach Dan Brooks is the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) National Coach of the Year, after leading the Blue Devils to their seventh NCAA Championship last week at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark. The announcement was made Friday morning live on the Golf Channel.
Brooks receives his sixth Division I Golf Pride Grips WGCA National Coach of the Year honor with the other selections coming in 2014, 2007, 2005, 2001 and 1999.
Recently completing his 35th campaign with the Blue Devils, Brooks has led Duke to seven NCAA Championships over the last 21 years.
