DURHAM – The Duke women's golf program is preparing to head to NCAA Regional action this weekend, but prior to the Blue Devils hitting the road the ACC announced Thursday that sophomore Phoebe Brinker was tabbed the ACC Golfer of the Month for April.
Brinker recently registered her first collegiate victory at the ACC Championship, which was contested at The Reserve Golf Club in Pawley's Island, S.C.
A native of Wilmington, Del., Brinker became the 15th different Blue Devil in school history to win an ACC Championship, after carding a 54-hole ledger of 10-under-par, 206, over 54 holes.
