DURHAM – Coming off winning the ACC Individual Championship this past week, Duke women's golf standout Phoebe Brinker was tabbed the Golfweek Performer of the Week on Tuesday.
Brinker's victory at The Reserve Golf Club in Pawley's Island, S.C., marked her first collegiate win.
A native of Wilmington, Del., Brinker became the 16th different Blue Devil in school history to win an ACC Championship, after carding a 54-hole ledger of 10-under-par, 206, over 54 holes. Her winning score matched the Duke ACC Championship record of former teammate Gina Kim from just a year ago.
