DURHAM – On Tuesday, Duke women's golf junior Phoebe Brinker was selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2023 Academic All-District Women's At-Large team.
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced June 22.
Brinker, a native of Wilmington, Del., turned in a solid season for the Blue Devils in 2022-23 as she collected a team-best 72.81 stroke average to go along with six top-10 finishes.
