The NBA All-Star Reserves have been released and former Blue Devils Brandon Ingram and Jayson Tatum have been named 2020 All-Stars.
They join Carlos Boozer, Elton Brand, Luol Deng, Grant Hill, Kyrie Irving, Christian Laettner, Jack Marin, and Jeff Mullins as Duke alumni who have been selected as All-Stars.
On Thurs. Feb. 6th at 7pm on TNT, team captains LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo draft the All-Star Game rosters from the pool of players voted as starters and reserves in each conference. They will make selections no matter a player’s conference affiliation or position.
This year’s game format will be designed enhance competition and to honor the late Kobe Bryant:
The changes include a new fourth-quarter format that will honor the late Kobe Bryant, who earned 18 NBA All-Star selections and a record-tying four NBA All-Star Game MVP awards.
