DURHAM, N.C. – With the Duke football team departing today for the Quick Lane Bowl, redshirt senior center Austin Davis spoke with GoDuke.com about the trip to Detroit and his final year with the Blue Devils.
Davis, a team captain from Mansfield, Texas, was named the team’s Dan “Tiger” Hill award winner as the Blue Devils’ top offensive lineman for the second consecutive year. The 6-4, 290-pound anchor of the line has spearheaded Duke’s offensive attack this season by opening holes for Duke to have two 200-200 performances.
