DURHAM, N.C. – With a 54-hole, 12-under-par ledger, 2014 Duke University alumna Celine Boutier registered her first Ladies European Tour title by a four-stroke margin at the Sanya Ladies Open in Hainan, China.
Boutier, who is from Montrouge, France, carded rounds of 67, 69 and 68 over the three days on her way to winning the title by four over Solar Lee (208). The former Duke National Player of the Year made four straight birdies from holes 11 through 14 and then added another on No. 16 for a back nine of 32.
With the victory, Boutier now owns three wins on the year as she registered two victories on the Symetra Tour.
