GLENEAGLES, Scotland – In her first appearance in the Solheim Cup, Duke University alumna Celine Boutier shined as she registered an impressive 4-0 record over three days on her way to helping lead Europe to a 14.5 to 13.5 victory in Gleneagles, Scotland.
"It's pretty unbelievable," commented Boutier. "I'm so happy to be able to bring another point to the team and very excited about the round today. I feel like we both played pretty well and very steady. So it was definitely good."
With both teams knotted 8-8 heading into Sunday's single action, Europe needed a late charge to take back the cup for the first time since 2013.
