DURHAM, N.C. – For the sixth time in school history, a Blue Devil will be competing in the Solheim Cup as former Duke University National Player of the Year Celine Boutier will represent the European squad at the biennial competition that gets started Friday, Sept. 13.
The competition will take place Sept. 13-15 in Gleneagles, Scotland against the United States.
It will mark Boutier's first appearance in the Solheim Cup, after former Blue Devil Brittany Lang represented the United States in each of the previous five Solheim Cups.
European captain Catriona Matthew will be joined by Boutier, Bronte Law, Suzann Pettersen, Jodi Ewart-Shadoff, Carlota Ciganda, Anne Van Dam, Caroline Hedwall, Charley Hull, Georgia Hall, Azahara Munoz, Carline Masson and Anna Nordqvist.
