VICTORIA, Australia — What a way to open the 2019 LPGA campaign as Duke alumna Celine Boutier carded rounds of 69, 71, 69 and 72 for an eight-under, 281, to win by two strokes at the 2019 ISPS Handa Vic Open in Victoria, Australia. It marked her first LPGA Tour victory staged at 13th Beach Golf Links.
“It's been something I've been working toward since I turned pro and I just feel like it just happened,” said Boutier. “I'm super excited with the way I handled myself. It's not always easy to be able to get your first win.
