DURHAM, N.C.—The Duke University field hockey team will have another Blue Devil representative at the upcoming Junior Women's World Cup as Duke midfielder Darcy Bourne was named to England's U21 National Team as announced by the organization, Nov. 2.
Bourne will join senior Leah Crouse, who will represent the United States, at the event. The Esher, England native was one of 18 players selected to travel to Potchefstroom, South Africa for the World Cup. The tournament runs from Dec. 5-16.
The 2020 ACC Freshman of the Year, Bourne has spent the 2021 field hockey season in England training with her club program, Surbiton.
