For a while there was legitimate concern that Kara Lawson might end up as the next coach of the Boston Celtics, particularly after former Celtic Brian Scalabrine pushed the idea with some conviction, but for whatever reason, it seems less and less likely.
Boston has scheduled second interviews with league assistants Ime Udoka (Brooklyn), Darvin Ham (Milwaukee) and Chauncey Billups (LA Clippers).
There hasn’t been much mention of Lawson since the early days of the search. And given the mutual respect between her and Stevens, she’s a logical candidate. Everyone who knows her raves about her potential.
