She is attending classes remotely this semester, despite the time difference. Boonchant made the decision over the summer after discussing her options with her coaches and parents.
BANGKOK, Thailand -- On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jaravee Boonchant logs onto Zoom at 4 a.m., well before the sun rises, for her Japanese culture class. And the night before, she is in class from 9 p.m., to midnight.
