FRANCE – Following three days of action in France for the 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup, the United States claimed a 38.5 to 21-5 victory at the Evian Resort Golf Club. The U.S. registered 18-of-24 points in the final round of singles matches Sunday to pull away for the win.
Duke sophomore Jaravee Boonchant went up against Mariel Galdiano in singles play Sunday and dropped a 1-down decision. Galdiano led 1-up through six holes, but Boonchant birdied the par five seventh and parred No. 8 to go ahead, 1-up, through eight holes. After winning the next two holes, Galdiano again went 1-up through 10 holes.
