Bobby Hurley has put Arizona State on the cusp of greatness this season and the university has responded aggressively, giving the former Duke star a contract extension and a big raise.
Under state law a five-year contract is the maximum and that’s where he is. He also gets a $700,000 raise in July, a $100,00 raise next July and another $100,000 bump July 2020. And in 2021, he’ll get another $200,000 annually.
You’d almost think ASU wants to hang on to the guy.
