DURHAM, N.C. – Nine current or former members of the Duke swimming and diving program competed at the 2019 Phillips 66 National Championships last week in Stanford, Calif. Six Blue Devils had times that earned admission to the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb. in June 2020.
Senior Alyssa Marsh stood out in the five-day meet, surpassing the trial cut in two events. She placed second in the ‘B’ final of the women’s 50-meter freestyle with a time of 25.44. In the 100 backstroke, Marsh earned an Olympic Trials cut time of 1:01.
