WALTHAM, Mass. – Concluding the 2016 NCAA Fencing Championships with Sunday’s fourth day of competition, the Duke fencing team saw two men’s fencers secure top-15 finishes in their respective weapons to help the Blue Devils finish ninth in the team standings with 58 points. It was the second consecutive season Duke finished ninth as a school and its sixth top-10 finish in the past seven seasons.
Columbia/Barnard won its second straight team title with 174 points, followed by Ohio State (167), Princeton (161), St. John’s (161) and Notre Dame (160) to round out the top five.
