NETANYA, ISRAEL –It was a successful first day for the former Blue Devils in action at the 2018 FIL World Championships in Netanya, Israel. Overall, five former Duke standouts represented Israel and the United States with both countries winning their openers.
Josh Offit, a captain of the 2013 NCAA Championship team, finished with two goals as Israel pulled away in the second half for an 11-3 win over Jamaica. With Israel trailing 2-1, Offit netted his first to tie the game and then added another in the second quarter to make it a two-goal lead, 4-2.
