One of the major questions heading into this season was how Duke could replace one of the greatest wide receivers in school history in All-American Jamison Crowder, who was recently selected as a 3rd round draft pick by the Washington Redskins, in addition to losing Issac Blakeney who signed as a rookie free agent with the San Francisco 49ers and was a tall 6-6 red zone target. Despite major losses from last season, the Blue Devils still have a very talented wide receiver unit who will have to work together to fill the void left by Crowder and Blakeney.
