The best and most fierce rivalry in college sports will be taking a short break on August 25.
The Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heels will team up to help raise money for cancer research in the 3rd Annual Hoop-A-Thon.
Teen Cancer America will sponsor the Hoop-A-Thon and fans can register to get some shots up in Cameron Indoor Stadium or in the Dean Smith Center.
Former Blue Devil and current Director of Basketball Operations Nolan Smith will lead the Duke team while former Tar Heel Brice Johnson will take charge for North Carolina.
