GREELEY, Colo. – After two consecutive five-set matches, Duke swept North Colorado 3-0 (25-8, 25-18, 25-19) Saturday evening at Bank of Colorado Arena to complete an undefeated weekend.
Duke (3-0) hit a weekend best .361 for the match and limited Northern Colorado (0-2) to a .152 mark.
Senior outside hitter Cadie Bates paced the offense with a match-high 13 kills, topping the 10-kill mark for the third time in as many matches. Junior middle blocker Leah Meyer added seven kills on .429 hitting while freshman outside hitter Payton Schwantz contributed seven kills, five digs and an ace.
