DURHAM – The second-ranked Duke women's golf program doesn't get a chance to play in local golf tournaments very often, but will have the chance this week, as the Blue Devils will travel down Tobacco Road to compete in the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational from Oct. 15-17 at Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Competing this week will be Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Furman, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, NC State, Ohio State, Rollins, SMU, UNC Wilmington, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. All teams will play three, 18-hole rounds from Friday through Sunday.
