ORLANDO, Fla. - The Duke Blue Devils (7-4) opened their time at the Citrus Classic in Orlando, Fla., with a split, shutting out Morgan State (2-5), 5-0, in the day's first game before falling 5-1 to No. 23 Kentucky (6-3) to close out Friday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
Jameson Kavel's first-career home run, along with a 2-for-3 day from Jill Ferraro in her first action of the year were the difference in the day's first game, as the Blue Devils shut down the Bears, 5-0.
