WILMINGTON, N.C. – After play was suspended Friday in the opening round of the Landfall Tradition, the Duke women’s golf team returned to the course Saturday at the 6,166-yard, par 72 Country Club of Landfall Dye Course in Wilmington, N.C.
The Blue Devils closed round one with a nine-over, 297, and led all teams by three strokes. It marked the fourth straight tournament to open the season that Duke has led after the first 18 holes. In the second round, the Blue Devils shot their second straight nine-over, 297, to drop to fourth overall with an 18-over, 594.
