CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Through the first four events in the heptathlon, senior Robert Rohner stands atop the leaderboard after totaling 3,019 points Thursday at the Tobacco Road Multis, hosted by the University of North Carolina at Eddie Smith Field House.
The Blue Devils turned in a strong group performance as sophomore Tanner Johnson and junior Chaz Hawkins enter day two of the heptathlon in third and fifth, respectively, with 2,963 and 2,834 points. Junior Connor Hall, a pole vault specialist who is competing in his first career heptathlon, sits in ninth after the first four events with 2,266 points.
