DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women’s golf team is set to kick off the 2017 spring season this weekend as the Blue Devils travel to Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., for the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, which will be played at the 6,017-yard, par 71 Palos Verdes Golf Club from Feb. 12-14.
Seeing action will be Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, UNLV, Florida, Northwestern, Tennessee, Wake Forest, California, San Diego State, UCLA, USC, Washington and Ohio State. In looking at the latest Golfweek team rankings, the field includes nine squads listed in the top 20 – Alabama (2), USC (4), UCLA (5), Florida (8), Wake Forest (9), Arizona State (14), Duke (16), Northwestern (17) and Arizona (20).
