Blue Devils Seeded No. 1 in Auburn Regional

DURHAM, N.C. – The second-ranked Duke women's golf team received its 27th consecutive bid to participate in NCAA Regional action Wednesday as the Blue Devils were seeded No. 1 in the Auburn Regional and will next travel to Opelika, Ala., from May 6-8 to play for an invitation to the NCAA Championship. The regional will be played at Saugahatchee Country Club.

Duke was seeded No. 1 for the 12th time out of the last 19 years (2018, 2014, 2013, 2010, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2001 and 2000.

Other teams competing in the regional are Vanderbilt, Florida State, Auburn, Virginia, Furman, Clemson, Houston, Kennesaw State, Alabama, Tennessee, California, Maryland, East Carolina, Denver, South Alabama, Albany and Murray State.
