ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Duke women’s cross country team enjoyed a successful morning at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships, racing to a third-place team finish Friday at the Winthrop Farm.
The Blue Devils tallied 139 team points to earn their highest finish since 2012, placing behind only NC State (70) and Furman (94), who were ranked first and second, respectively, coming into today’s race. Wake Forest placed fourth with 163 points, while Virginia finished fifth with 181 points to close out the top five teams.
“Today was a great day for the women,” said head coach Rhonda Riley.
