INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Through three rounds of pool play at the NCAA Fencing Championships, the Blue Devils are currently in eighth place in the team standings with 37 points, highlighted by freshman Duncan De Caire’s eighth-place individual standing heading into Friday.
Notre Dame leads the team competition with 57 points, followed by Ohio State (56), Columbia/Bernard (51), Harvard (49) and Princeton (49) to round out the top five.
De Caire has led the Blue Devil men throughout the season with an outstanding 49-18 overall record and posted a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional.
