DURHAM, N.C. – Using a 10-run inning in the fifth, Duke softball rallied to defeat Campbell, 15-7, in six innings on Tuesday night at the Duke Softball Stadium.
With the win, the Blue Devils improved to 9-1 on the season as the Camels dropped to 5-6. Junior pitcher Brianna Butler entered in relief during the fifth inning and secured her second victory of the season (2-1).
Duke put a run on the board first as junior Jameson Kavel sent a leadoff hit through the right side before stealing second.
