DURHAM – Duke men's soccer enters the 2023 season as the No. 4 team in the country, as United Soccer Coaches (USC) released its preseason rankings on Tuesday.
After ending the 2022 season ranked No. 3 nationally in USC's postseason poll, Duke begins the season as a top-five team for the first time since 2007, when the Blue Devils were also tabbed No. 4 in the nation. Duke, led by head coach John Kerr, is coming off an undefeated regular season in 2022 and claimed its second consecutive ACC Coastal crown while also advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals en route to an overall record of 13-2-4 (5-0-3).
