DURHAM, N.C. – With the abrupt ending of the 2019-20 golf seasons, the Duke men's and women's golf programs raised $10,479.25 this year for the Duke Children's Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units.
Through three years of the Birdies for Babies program, which was created by 2019 Duke graduate Virginia Elena Carta, the Blue Devils have raised $47,302 to go towards the Duke Children's Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units.
The men's golf team closed the season ranked No. 12 nationally and featured two Blue Devils in the top 20, individually. Junior Evan Katz was rated No.
