DURHAM – Even though both the Duke men's and women's golf programs had a shortened 2020-21 season due to COVID-19, the Blue Devils were able to still raise $21,006 for the Birdies for Babies program, which benefits the Duke Children's Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units.
Over the four years of the Birdies for Babies program, the Blue Devils have raised a total of $68,308.
During the 2021 season, the men's and women's programs combined to collect 941 birdies to go along with 32 eagles.
The women's program won the ACC Championship and went on to advance to the semifinals of match play at the NCAA Championship in 2021.
