DURHAM, N.C. – Following registering 36 birdies at the NCAA Auburn Regional, the Duke men’s and women’s golf programs have now raised $20,985 for the Duke Children’s Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units.
In the second year of Birdies for Babies, the Blue Devils have almost doubled the $10,500.00 mark of earnings from the opening year of the program in 2017-18.
The women’s golf program has tallied 381 birdies on the season to go along with two victories at the Tar Heel Invitational and the Landfall Tradition. Duke will next compete in the NCAA Championship at The Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark.
