GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Duke softball program has been picked fourth in the 2022 ACC preseason poll, while graduate student Jameson Kavel and senior Deja Davis have been tabbed to the Preseason All-ACC Team, as the conference announced on Wednesday.
The Blue Devils finished with 119 points and one first place vote in a tight poll that split the first-place vote between four teams. Florida State (137 points) was voted first, followed by Clemson (128), Virginia Tech (126) and the Blue Devils.
Duke was one of five teams with multiple representatives on the 14-member All-ACC unit, with the program earning multiple honorees for the first time in program history.
