Blue Devils Open Baton Rouge Regional Tied Seventh

BATON ROUGE, La. – The top-seeded and fourth-ranked Duke women’s golf team got off to a slow start Thursday at the Baton Rouge Regional as the Blue Devils turned in a 10-over-par, 298, and sits tied seventh overall with 36 holes remaining at the 6,285-yard, par 72 University Club in Baton Rouge, La.

Washington turned in a two-under-par late in the day to take the day one team lead with a 286, while South Carolina (290), Oregon (292), Florida (293), Houston (295), Arizona State (296), Duke (298), Brigham Young (298), LSU (299) and East Carolina (301) rounded out the top 10 teams.
