DURHAM, N.C. – After closing non-conference action this past week, the 11th-ranked Duke women's tennis team will hit the road this weekend to open ACC play at Virginia Tech, Sunday, Feb. 21 at 12 p.m. The match will be played at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center in Blacksburg, Va.
Duke (5-1) and Virginia Tech (2-3) will meet for the 26th time in school history with the Blue Devils leading the series, 23-2. In matches played in Blacksburg, Va., Duke holds an 8-1 ledger. The Blue Devils have won four straight matches in the series.
The Hokies enter the weekend with a 2-3 record, but are coming off a 5-2 victory over Xavier this past weekend.
