DURHAM, N.C. – Duke opens its 23rd season under head coach Kerstin Kimel Sunday when it hosts Elon at Koskinen Stadium. The Blue Devils and the Phoenix will meet for the fifth consecutive season. Duke has won 21 consecutive season openers and 17 straight home openers coming into Sunday’s 1 p.m. contest. The season opener features a matchup of ranked teams as the Blue Devils were No. 20 and Elon No. 21 in the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Preseason Poll.
