DURHAM, N.C. – After a weekend that included a 1-0 victory over ninth-ranked Minnesota and a 0-0 draw with eighth-ranked North Carolina, the Duke women’s soccer team moved up to No. 6 in both the Soccer America and NSCAA top 25 rankings that were released Tuesday.
The Blue Devils have compiled three straight shutouts heading into a clash with second-ranked West Virginia Friday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m., in Durham, N.C. Prior to the match, Duke senior Rebecca Quinn and West Virginia’s Kadeisha Buchanan and Ashley Lawrence will be recognized, after helping lead the Canada Women’s National Team to a second straight bronze medal at the Olympics in Rio.
