HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Duke women’s golf team turned in an even-par, 288, Saturday in the second round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate on its way to moving up to second with 18 holes remaining at the 6,160-yard, Par 71 Pete Dye Course at the Long Cover Club in Hilton Head, S.C.
Florida State holds the team leading with a three-under-par, 565, while Duke (573) is eight shots back. Wake Forest (574), South Carolina (580), Furman (583) and LSU (583) round out the top five teams.
Duke featured five birdies over its first four holes and would go on to make the turn at two-under-par as both Jaravee Boonchant and Gina Kim were one-under-par.
