DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's golf program opened the month of March in impressive fashion as the 22nd-ranked Blue Devils carded a six-under-par, 282, and leads a stacked field at the Gamecock Intercollegiate, which is being played at the 6,297-yard, par 72 Columbia Country Club.
The Blue Devils were paced by three golfers under par as sophomore Erica Shepherd and freshman Phoebe Brinker each signed for a three-under-par, 69, while junior Gina Kim shot a two-under, 70.
As a team, Duke turned in a six-under-par, 282, and lead LSU (286) by four strokes.
