EUGENE, Ore. – Behind three under-par rounds Saturday, the Duke women’s golf team carded a five-under-par, 283, on its way to jump up 12 spots on the team leaderboard through 36 holes at the NCAA Championship played at the 6,331-yard, par 72 Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore. Duke’s five-under ledger was tied for the third-best 18-hole ledger in the second round.
The Blue Devils fired three scores in the red numbers by Virginia Elena Carta (68), Leona Maguire (70) and Sandy Choi (71), while sophomore Gurbani Singh rebounded to post a two-over, 74, Saturday.
