DURHAM, N.C. – Coming off winning the team title at the Gamecock Intercollegiate last week, the Duke women's golf program has jumped to No. 8 in the latest Golfweek Collegiate Team rankings, while sophomore Erica Shepherd is No. 2 individually.
The Blue Devils have competed in two tournaments in the spring, while collecting a first place and third place ledger. The win for Duke head coach Dan Brooks was his 138th victory, which continues to lead the NCAA.
Florida State is No. 1, while Wake Forest, Baylor, Southern California, Arizona State, South Carolina, Mississippi, Duke, LSU and Virginia are in the top 10.
