DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke baseball team had its first full team practice of the fall Tuesday afternoon at Jack Coombs Field in preparation for the 2019 fall season.
The day began with head coach Chris Pollard meeting with the media around noon to discuss the upcoming fall schedule and answer questions surrounding the 2019-20 Duke baseball squad. Practice followed at 3:15 p.m. with the Blue Devils focusing on fundamentals for roughly two hours before concluding the team's first official day together.
"It's our first official day of fall practice after about a six-week individual period where we've been brining guys up to the field in small groups," said Pollard.
